Paradigm Housing Goes Mobile in Six Weeks
Paradigm Housing Group provides a wide range of housing and support services throughout the South, East Midlands and West London. In September 2010, Paradigm took over their maintenance contract services from Connaught, who had gone in to administration, and transferred 160 staff to a new subsidiary, Paradigm Maintenance.
The company identified a major business requirement to notify its field workers of work orders and allow them to update the details directly on their BlackBerry smartphones. Paradigm evaluated the various tools available to build a suitable mobile application. Mike Silk, head of IT for Paradigm Housing, explained why the company decided to adopt DragonRAD as a platform for their mobile development.
