Connecting the Windows Mobile emulator to the network:

  1. The emulator must be connected to the network. DragonRAD Designer will normally connect the emulator automatically to the network, however in case of problems connecting to your server, check these items:

  2. On the emulator device screen, in Settings / Connections / Advanced /Select Networks, choose My Work Network

  3. On the emulator, choose File / Configure / Network / Check ‘Enable Ne2000 PCMCIA network card and bind to:’ and select ‘Connected Network Card’. Note: This should eliminate the need to perform the next step.

  4. If the device does not connect automatically, in Device Manager, click Refresh, select your emulator, right click and select Cradle. Windows should detect the device and connect to it.
