I need help of u guys to display calender in a app which should trigger an action when we click on a day in that calender

Depending on the exact requirements, we have found that a grid can provide a nice listview to handle a calendar type task. By filtering the grid by a datetime column, the user can see appointments or events for a given day.  By adding a next and previous button, the grid filter can be modified to move back/forward one day at a time.  As the grid filter is changed, a label can also be updated to indicate to the user which day is currently being displayed.
